Steampunk Bear Mask

This was a present I made for a friend's birthday in 2016. It was made from a geometric bear mask pattern. I wanted to make it look steampunk so I added foam shapes measured and cut to size according to the faces of the mask, adding ‘rivets’ with araldite, and wires melted into shape with a flame and placed in strategic places. Once all of this was done, I sprayed the whole thing black, and rubbed on different colours of metallic paint to the highest parts to give it depth. I also installed some 3D cinema lenses into the eyes so the wearers eyes would be hidden.
