3:1 Scale Ear
This is a big ear scaled up 3:1 from a cast of my own ear. After accurately sculpting and measuring using calipers, it was then moulded in silicone, and given a fiberglass jacket to keep the mould structurally sound while casting. Once the jacket was removed and replaced, I cast it in fast cast. To finish, I coated it in black paint, and then rubbed on some brass metallic paint on the high areas to make it look like it was cast in metal and had aged somewhat.
